Terms of Service
Last updated August 24, 2026
This is a plain-language summary of what you're agreeing to by using WorthAPick, written by the person who built it — not a law firm. It's meant to be genuinely readable, not a wall of boilerplate. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to the terms below.
What WorthAPick is
WorthAPick reads estate sale and auction listings and estimates what individual items might be worth, based on comparable listings from eBay and Etsy's public search results. It is a research tool, not a certified appraisal service, and it is not affiliated with EstateSales.NET, CTBids, AuctionNinja, eBay, or Etsy.
Estimates are estimates — read this part
Every value, profit, and "worth ~$X" figure WorthAPick shows you is an automated estimate based on comparable active listings at the time it was generated. It is not a guarantee of what an item will actually sell for, an appraisal, or financial or investment advice. Comparable-listing data can be wrong, outdated, or matched to the wrong item; a "low confidence" flag means we think this is more likely, but the absence of that flag is not a guarantee either.
You are solely responsible for any decision you make — what to buy, how much to bid, what to pay — based on WorthAPick's output. WorthAPick and its creator are not liable for any financial loss, bad purchase, missed opportunity, or other damage resulting from reliance on an estimate.
Accounts
You need an account to use WorthAPick. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. Don't use the service to scrape, resell, or redistribute its output at scale, attempt to abuse or overwhelm the service, or use it for anything illegal. We can suspend or terminate an account that does.
Pricing and billing
New accounts get a free 14-day trial with no card required. After the trial, continued use requires a one-time payment of $29.99, processed through Stripe. That payment is exactly that — one time. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, and nothing to cancel; your access continues for the life of the product.
Refunds: because every account gets a full free trial before any card is ever charged, a charge is generally non-refundable once billed. If something genuinely went wrong on our end (a billing error, a service outage shortly after you paid), email worthapickr@gmail.com and we'll sort it out — refunds outside of that are handled case by case, not as a standing right.
"As is," no warranty
WorthAPick is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its data (scraped listing content, comparable prices, item identification) will be accurate or complete. Third-party sites this tool reads from (EstateSales.NET, CTBids, AuctionNinja, eBay, Etsy) can change their pages, go down, or remove listings at any time, which can affect what WorthAPick is able to show you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, WorthAPick and its creator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including financial losses from purchase decisions made using its estimates. Where liability can't be fully excluded, it's limited to the amount you paid WorthAPick in the 3 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date; continuing to use WorthAPick after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
